[edit] Endorsement
I am here to offer Pete my support because his message is one of hope.
I believe that working together we can truly make a difference. Let's speak of the things that do matter, and discuss ways to make our government more transparent, and let's put people first by focusing more on personal freedom, responsibility and acountability. It's time for a change in Utah as well as in America.
Let's talk about providing excellence in education, fostering economic growth, providing quality affordable health care, safe and reliable transportation, and protecting the environment for future generations. Let's make our positions known and set an agenda that works, and let's find solutions and build from there.
It's important that our agenda is clear and I believe that Pete's move towards a more open and more versatile electronic media like Wiki is a great step foward for representative democracy. I support Pete because I see in him a promise that can be achieved. This is why I endorse Pete Ashdown for Senate.
[edit] Why Pete Ashdown?
Pete Ashdown understands the needs of Utahns, himself being one, he isn't going to serve special interests in Washington because he understands that the working family, children and the members of our community are more important and need to be placed first. It's not hard for me to endorse Pete for Senate because we agree on many of the issues and I believe him to be a man of integrity. I not only support him as a candidate but as a voter because I know if elected that he will do his best and will serve Utah well.
